I recently had my cervical smear test with the nurse Yolanda, she was excellent. Her explanation prior to the test was informative, she put me at ease and explained when I would receive the results.

Sadly trying to get an appointment with one’s GP seems impossible, unless an emergency. No doubt the reason that A&E is now overwhelmed. Disappointing for those of us who have paid our taxes for years & frightening for the elderly. Need more GPs, but apparently no jobs available for those trying to access openings. Why?

Arranging an appointment with my own Doctor is virtually impossible but I was referred to Richard the paramedic who at first thought he was the wrong person to answer my concerns regarding my blood test results but oh, he was amazing. He kindly talked me through my life style, made me understand the results and I am eternally grateful to him. Thank you so much Richard. You are wonderful. Lizzie Gilks.

A lot of clients agree making appointments to see their doctors these days need a magic formula which seems to be a well guarded secret. I can understand their frustration and why so many rush to A and E for help.
